I’m a little mama on the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada simply sharing my thoughts on life and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

In 2019, I became a widow after the sudden and unexpected death of my husband. Left with four very young children to raise on my own, I had no idea the direction my life would take. One thing I knew with certainty, that the God I had placed my trust in since childhood would be my faithful provider, protector and friend and that I could continue to trust his leading no matter what my circumstances were.

Today, I am still a widowed mother raising those four kids on my own but as I look back and reflect on these last four years, I see the faithful hand of God throughout our story. Not only has God provided us with a beautiful home and wonderful community, he has been restoring my health as I tackled a life-long struggle with my weight and has opened doors for me to pursue dreams I had long given up on. Namely, the pursuit of a post-secondary education. It is my hope and prayer that I will be able to pursue a career in counselling on completion of my education and thereby help others pursue a life of beauty from ashes as I have experienced.
