Q & A Day

on February 26, 2013

You know, some days I am just stumped as to what to write about. Today is one of those days, so I’m declaring a Q & A day. Please feel free to use the comment section to ask any questions about me, weight loss, what’s up with the Easter Bunny laying eggs…you name it. Or leave a comment with a suggestion for a post topic and we’ll see if that greases some wheels.

It’s Tuesday, I’m on track, waiting for little dude to fall asleep so I can get on my bike.

*WEIGHT LOSS TIP OF THE DAY*

Don’t deprive yourself. My daily “must-have” that I can’t live without? A travel mug full of freshly ground, brewed coffee, complete with a spoonful of homemade caramel and some milk. I did cut back to one mug from the two I was enjoying previously. I can’t live without coffee, and I love my coffee sweet.

I gave up my favorite vanilla nut tea with french vanilla creamer, so are you saying I should keep that and do more excerise instead? I have tried so many green teas from the store, as store bought is easier at work to deal with than my favorite loose green tea leaves that I drink at home. Green tea has zero calories compaired to french vanilla creamer and I hate the less fat one, you have to use twice as much to get the taste.

Better to keep small, moderate indulgences than to make yourself miserable having everything but the one thing you want. It really doesn’t take much extra exercise to allow ourselves some treats. I’ve tried taking my coffee black or with just milk and I can’t stand it. I also can’t stand artificial sweeteners so getting my coffee to where I like it takes a few calories. But I’d rather shave a few calories elsewhere, or earn them with exercise and keep my coffee the way I like than give it up entirely. And thanks, you just gave me and idea for something to post about tomorrow!

Hi Sara. I found a product in the US you might like. It’s an all natural liquid vanilla flavoured cane sugar. I drink my coffee black and straight. Never did like sweet coffee but I bought it for family members who like theirs sweet. Maybe you could find this in SK somewhere too. Since reading your blog I’ve been taking extra notice of what exactly I do eat when in the truck. Keep it up!
